Jonathan S. GATERA
Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Jonathan S. GATERA is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to his appointment, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since its establishment up to February 2019. Jonathan GATERA was the Director General of Rwanda Social Security Board from August 2015 to 2018. He has been the Director General, Financial Stability Directorate at National Bank of Rwanda from January 2014 to August 2015. Prior to this position, He was the Director, Financial Markets Department at National Bank of Rwanda from July 2011 to December 2013. He also worked as Manager, Financial Markets, and Analysis & Risk from January 2010 to June 2011 and also as Manager, Foreign Exchange Reserves from January to December 2009. Before occupying the above positions, he was appointed Senior Financial Analyst from January 2003 to 2008 then Financial Analyst from January 2000 to December 2002. He joined the National Bank of Rwanda in June 2000, after graduating in Bachelor’s degree in Sciences in Economics /BSc Economics from University of Rwanda (Huye). In 2012, he was awarded a Master’s degree in Sciences in Economics /MSc Economics from University of Rwanda (Kigali).
Mr. Andre GASHUGI
Chief Operations Officer
Mr. André GASHUGI is the COO. From establishment of RNIT to February 2019 he was the Chief Executive Officer. He has a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Université Cergy Pontoise and a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control Université Méditerannéene de Tunisie. He has 15 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Corporate Management and Finance in different capacities. He has lead RNIT steps since its creation. His guidance and overall orientation has shaped the organization and built capacity to enable RNIT Ltd to launch the inaugural of RNIT Iterambere Fund.
Mr. Ignace MUNYANDINDA
Finance, Administration and Fund Accounting Manager
Mr. Ignace MUNYANDINDA, as the Finance, Administration and Fund Accounting Manager of RNIT Ltd. He is responsible for fund and company’s finances including processing of the investments and preparation of financial statements. He joined RNIT Ltd in March 2015 while the company was at the establishment phase. Prior to joining, He worked at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) as Public Accounts Expert and Team Leader in charge of reporting and consolidation of Government accounts whereby he participated actively in Public Finance Management (PFM) reforms and participated in consolidation of Government financial statements (Oct 2010 to March 2015) and had served as Accountant at Kigali Health Institute (KHI) from 2008 to 2010. He is ACCA qualified finance professional, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA-UK) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR). He holds an MBA from the University of Kigali and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB). He is proficient with broad knowledge of wide range in financial management, investments, strategic planning, budgeting, accounting, designing of internal controls as well as financial reporting for decision making.
Mr. Evariste KABERUKA
Operations Manager.
Mr. Evariste KABERUKA is Operations Manager. He has MBA-Accounting & Finance from Mount Kenya University with 5 years of experience in Customs and Trade. He has monitored and coordinated relevant MDAs, to ensure the timely implementation of EAC projects and programmes under trade and investment. He has also among others coordinated the mobilization of Rwanda’s people through the Private Sector Federation to work together through joint ventures so as to build up their capital and be able to invest and compete in the region’s expanded market.
Mrs. Anne Lyse MUKABIDERI
Investment Manager.
Mrs. Anne Lyse MUKABIDERI holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and accounting option from Mount Kenya University, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance option from School of Finance and Banking and she is a qualified Enterprise-Wide Risk Manager. she holds an ACI dealing certificate from The financial markets association specializing in different financial market instruments. she has 15 years of working experiences in the areas of contribution collection, planning, investment and risk management. Before joining RNIT, she was working at Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) as director in charge of Risk Management and compliance Unit with main responsibility of managing and preventing risks for effective achievement of the Institution mandate.
Mr. Jean Paul NDISANZE
Corporate Services Senior Officer.
Mr. Jean Paul NDISANZE is the General Services Officer. He has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Bircham International University. He has a 3-year experience in Planning and M&E, and has proven success record at providing support to Senior Management and Board of Directors. With experience in working with Government and multilateral funded projects, he also has a good understanding of project management..
Mr. Nature Emmanuel ICYITEGETSE
IT Officer.
He is CISCO CCNA, SPSS qualified and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Information Technology (BIT) from University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics (UR_CBE). He has 7 years of experience in IT Field . Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was a Network Administrator at SUKULINK INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER Ltd for 3 years. Prior to joining SUKULINK INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER Ltd, he was an IT Technician at INTELCAM Ltd for 4 years Parttime.
Mr. Christian BANGUMUKUNZI
Customer Care Officer.
Mr Christian Bangumukunzi holds a Bachelor’s Degree Economic Sciences and Management with specialization in Marketing from Unilak(University of Lay Adventists of Kigali). Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was a Customer Care Officer at King Faisal Hospital, Kigali. A Reatailer Officer in Off Grid Electric known as Zola. As an Enumerator and Data Collector in World Vision Rwanda. He was also a Sales and Marketing Assistant in AAR Health Services Rwanda.
Mrs. Marie NYIRABATESI
Accountant Officer.
She is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from School of Finance and Banking (SFB), She has 8 years of experiences in Accounting and Finance Reporting. Before joining RNIT Ltd, She was an Accountant at REAF (Rwanda Elders Advisory Forum) from 2015 up to 2018, prior to joining REAF She was an Accountant at MIFOTRA (Ministry of Public Service and Labor) from 2013 up to 2015.
Mr. Eric UWIRINGIYIMANA
Investor Relations Officer.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media and Communication with specialization in Public Relations from Mount Kenya University. Before joining RNIT Ltd, He worked with Rwanda National Post Office in Charge of communication and social media engagement from January 15th, 2020 until 9th June, 2020. He also served Rwanda Education Board (REB) as Customer care officer since October 1st,2018 up to June 30th ,2019 and worked with Royal Radio Ltd/Royal TV serving in the website and social media department From 1st August,2016 until January 20th , 2017. He also Served as a freelance of the New Times publication Ltd, in the capacity of a freelance Reporter, since October 3, 2016 to February 28, 2017.
Mr. Olivier NSABIMANA
Risk&Compliance Officer.
Mr. Olivier NSABIMANA is the Risk & Compliance Officer at Rwanda National Investment Trust Limited (RNIT Ltd). He holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting Sciences from University of Rwanda. Before Joining RNIT Ltd, he worked as an Internal Auditor at Ministry of Public Service and Labor /MIFOTRA From September 2017 up to September 2021. From 2015 to August 2017, He worked at National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda as Team leader, Editor and Enumerator in Integrated Business Enterprise Survey/IBES and other Service Surveys Such as TES, ICBT, EC, etc. From 2010, he served as a volunteer at National Electoral Commission and has been a Cell coordinator in 2017 presidential elections.
Mr. Joseph NTABANGANYIMANA
Operations Officer.
Mr. Joseph NTABANGANYIMANA is the Operations Officer at Rwanda National Investment Trust Limited, He holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting Sciences from University of Rwanda, Before joining RNT Ltd he worked as Accountant at Isuku Kinyinya Company from 2013 to 2018.
Mr. Jean De Dieu MUHIRE
Accountant Officer.
Mr. Jean de Dieu Muhire is the Accountant. He is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from University of Rwanda College of Business and Economics (UR_CBE)in 2016. He has 2 years of experience in Accounting and financial reporting. Before joining RNIT Ltd, He was an Accountant at Mogas Rwanda Ltd. Prior to joining Mogas Rwanda Ltd, he was Tax Associate at PwC Rwanda Ltd for 2 years.
